Mac OS X 10.1 (Firefox 1.0.8), OS X 10.2 and OS X 10.3 (Firefox 2.0.0.20), Mac OS X 10.4 (Firefox 3.X), Mac OS X 10.5 or above (Current Version). Firefox is limited to 45.9, Waterfox to around 48. TenFourFox is still being updated, so is ArcticFox. Sadly, also Seamonkey is no longer running in newer version on 10.6.8, but those two browsers mentioned are a relief. Snow Leopard is still one of the very best Mac OSX i ever tried.

Os x 10.6.8 I have an old Macbook - the white plastic kind from the mid-2000's - that still works perfectly. The only problem I have with it is finding a good browser to use. When that folder opens you are looking for a Mac OS.dmg file with this name flashplayer260r0131mac.dmg Dbl click on this and begin the install procedure from the brownish red Adobe install folder that appears. Even the Mozilla Firefox ESR version for OS X 10.6.8 is a year old now. Mozilla Firefox ESR last update for OS X 10.6.8 was last May. The Firefox version 48 release in August 2016 will be the last Firefox version to receive new feature or security updates on OS X systems that are no longer supported by Apple: OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8. Starting with the Firefox version 49 release in September 2016, Firefox is no longer supported on OS X systems below 10.9. Firefox ESR branch.
