Ck2 North Korea Mode

Ativações / Sistemas

Crusader Kings II's infamous 'North Korea mode', wherein a player simply doesn't bother with vassals and holds everything directly, was back and still powerful in the release version of III (1.0). Since the over-domain penalties on taxes and levies were capped at 90%, it remained a net gain at ten times the normal domain limit, and allowed. 'North Korea Mode' in crusader kings is the colloquial term for playing without having, or having few vassals. Doing so normally would impact your levies and gold per month as you are over your holding.

  • Now North Korea mode, that was an exploit. I wish the solution they implemented wasn't so oppressive though, now it's not viable to hold any holdings above your limit. Same thing they did in CK2, it was seriously nerfed to the ground even having one over.
  • The ‘North Korea’ strategy has returned for Crusader Kings 3, and it lets you completely dominate the world if pulled off correctly. This style of play was a thing in the previous version of the game, but has been made even stronger and more viable at this point in CK3’s lifetime. Here’s how to do the North Korea strategy in Crusader.
  • Conquer the land you need/want, become a King or Emperor, then go North-Korea mode (take all the land for yourself) or take as much land for yourself and grand all your duke or count vassals independence. If you adopt Merchant Repbic now the four compiting famillies will only have their family palace.
